This isn’t about a photo session, or even the pictures, it’s about You. Forget about posing and feeling stiff in front of the camera. Imagine going on a walk with an old friend, who just happens to have a camera with them. My process is free and flowy, and my only goal is to capture your true self.

My approach

Fill out the form
Once you’ve made up your mind, complete the form, and I will be getting back to you as soon as possible.

Meet up
So everyone feels comfortable and accustomed to each other, we’ll have a quick call to discuss things and plan everything out.
03.
Picture time
The big day! We’ll meet, talk, connect, and get to know each other. In the meantime, I will be preparing the equipment so we can jump right into it.
04.
Delivering photos
In one or two weeks, you will receive your edited pictures, to see yourself in all your natural glory.
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
The first thing you should know - there’s no need to be nervous. No one expects you to be a professionally trained model. Nor is that needed! We’re just two people hanging out, taking pictures, and enjoying the moment. Half of the time you won’t need to do anything at all, just relax and be yourself I will be with you every step of the way and guide you through the whole process.
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in. You can dress up if you wish to do so, you’re the star of the show, after all. It’s completely up to you. Consider wearing an outfit that you choose when you want to dress up, but just a little. The one that’s not your fanciest, but it just gives you that extra confidence, because it’s just so…You.
How many pictures will I receive?
Depending on your type of session, you’d get between 100 and 350 pictures. After we’re done with the session we’ll go through the process of selection, after which I will start editing. It takes 1-2 weeks to go through all the images, select the best ones, and retouch them. You will receive an online gallery dedicated to you, as well as your prints if you opted for them.
Are you available outside of Vancouver?
I am readily available to work in Vancouver, the North and West side, as well as Burnaby and Richmond. At this time, the option to travel for photoshoots isn’t a viable one for me. However, if you wish to book me for a session in another region of British Columbia, fill out the contact form, we may be able to work something out.
Do you do couples photography?
My main focus has always been Portrait, Lifestyle, and Urban photography. While I CAN work with couples, at this point in time I don’t feel comfortable enough to charge for my current level of skill. When that changes, a Couples package will be displayed on my Pricing page.
Can you recommend any locations?
I know tens of locations in Vancouver and its immediate surroundings. Also, you can take a look into my blog for articles with location suggestions for different occasions. Last but not least, we can get in touch and I'll do my best to suggest some locations that can fit your needs.
